Select a lesson plan that you have used to teach evolution (either your own or one from a biology text). Using the materials provided in these sessions and in NOVA: "Judgment Day: Intelligent Design on Trial," critique this lesson plan in terms of students' understanding of the importance of evolution, the nature of science, and what criteria qualify evolution as science. Suggest how you might revise the lesson to strengthen it. Also, how would this lesson help students understand why intelligent design is not science?
