Learners review their work after determining missing dimensions, finding the perimeter and finding the area of a compound shape.
These resources are part of KET's Math Instructional Strategies: Geometry collection.
Finding a missing dimension of a plane figure is a necessary skill for ABE learners as they transition to GED®-readiness and then to postsecondary venues. This ability to find the missing piece, then plug it into the perimeter and area formulas allows learners to solve problems of increasing complexity as their understanding increases.
