Reflect on Your Knowledge

In this section, you will examine your current knowledge about the Progressive Era. The Progressive Era covers the years from roughly 1895 to 1920. There is an enormous amount of content folded into this time period. In each of the below categories, what content must students know and understand in order to have a firm grounding in American history? Be sure to consider events happening in both urban and rural areas of the country, and reflect on how the changes occurring during this time period may result from the tremendous growth of the previous half-century.
