Locating Information: Resources for WorkKeys® and GED® Preparation
Special Collection
People in a wide array of workplaces need to find and analyze information from a variety of sources. Therefore, one of the skills required by the WorkKeys® assessment is locating information. WorkKeys learners must be able to navigate and draw conclusions from a variety of workplace graphics, from simple order forms to complicated instrument gauges.
This collection of resources, which originally appeared in KET’s Workplace Essential Skills and GED Connection series and accompanying workbooks, are designed to help learners locate information in commonly used graphics.
Students studying for their GED® test may also find practicing locating information helpful. Many questions require test-takers to read, understand, and use information from a graphic.
This collection is partially funded by support provided by the Bluegrass Community Foundation.
